Dichroic Hair Clips

Our handmade dichroic glass hair clips all feature the highest quality materials. Light weight and distinctive, we offer a variety of clip sizes and color styles.

• We artistically select dichroic glass and hand cut each piece.
• Using a wet grinder with a diamond bit, we smooth the edges.
• We combine several layers of glass which are kiln formed.
• Melting the layers together at 1500 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 hours creates a flat piece.
• After cooling the glass, we re-fire it for an 8-hour fuse.
• By placing it on a stainless steel mold, the glass drapes which transforms the flat piece into a curved shape.
• This shape allows us to attach the clip with a high-quality epoxy.
• We import French clips, known for their quality and for not tangling hair.
